Elizabeth Camargo Architecture & Design is a full service architecture and interior design firm, located in Miami Beach, Florida. It was established in 2004 by its principal, Elizabeth Camargo.

Ms. Camargo brings to the firm a much diversified experience acquired during her career of more than 25 years. She has practiced with several architectural firms in New York, Los Angeles and, since 1995, in Miami. She has participated in a variety of projects with different levels of complexity, being involved in the design, coordination and management of residential, commercial, retail and entertainment projects in the United States and abroad.

Ms. Camargo is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the Brazilian Institute of Architects. She has also been on the faculty of the Florida International University, School of Architecture. After graduating in

Architecture and Planning in her native Brazil, Ms. Camargo obtained a master’s degree in environmental design at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As part of her internship, she worked with Kisho Kurokawa Architect & Associates in Tokyo, Japan. She has also participated in the International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design in Siena, Italy.

Through the years, Ms. Camargo has established strong relationships with highly qualified professionals in architecture and other related fields. These relationships allow the firm to put together a team of experts to satisfy the specific needs of each project. The firm’s goal is to promote design excellence, while achieving client satisfaction. The design process is approached in a holistic way, encouraging the close participation of the client. This practice promotes refreshing and innovative design, the economic feasibility of the project and the use of environmentally conscious alternatives.
